| Chocolate Chip Cookies |
| Ingredients |
| 3/4 cup butter or margarine |
| 1/4 cup shortening (med. fat spread) |
| 3/4 cup sugar |
| 3/4 cup brown sugar |
| 2 eggs |
| 1 t vanilla extract |
| 2 1/4 cup cake flour |
| 1 t baking soda |
| 1/4 t salt |
| 1 pack chocolate chips |
| Procedure |
| Cream butter and shortening, gradually add sugars, add eggs, vanilla. |
| Beat well. |
| Combine flour, soda and salt, add to creamed mixture. |
| Add chips and mix. |
| Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet and bake in oven at 350°F 180°C for 10 - 12 minutes. |
