Pizza Dough

Some studies have linked consumption of the antioxidant lycopene, which exists in tomato products that are often used on pizza, as having a beneficial health effect.

Ingredients

2 t Active Dry Yeast  

1 C Water - warm (105F - 115F) 

2 1/2 C Flour

1 t Sugar

1 t Salt

2 T Olive Oil

Procedure

Dissolve Yeast, Sugar, and Olive Oil in Water. Sit until foamy.

Add Flour and Salt and mix well. Rest 5 minutes.

Roll dough into ball and need until smooth.

Place dough is Oil coated large bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise in warm spot. About 45 minutes.

Cut in two. Lightly dust with flour. Roll on Corn Meal covered peel with pin.

Top with Tomato Sauce and what ever you desire.

Bake in hottest oven possible.
